Historical collector's piece, but sure you won't let it closed in the collector's drawer.
Tawse is a spanking tool that was used in schools in Old Scotland to rectify disobedient pupils. It's not a pretty good idea, but it proves something when their production has been going on for over 130 years. Similar history has a more famous cane.
Since 19th century, tawse has been devised and manufactured so that only a little effort causes great pain and no bloody scars for the punished person. It has a face and a reverse side, the face is beautifully smooth, sometimes with some engraved manufacturer's logo, and it is coarser on the reverse side. It leaves red painful traces that tell exactly what caused them and how many "tails" the used tawse had. The thickness of the tool is also important - the thicker it is, the more painful are consequences of its use.
Tawse is made exclusively by hands of professional craftsmen. Previously, there have been renowned producers in this field, whose production had always a great demand, for example Lochgelly.
Each piece is unique, no two are the same, and I managed to get a couple of them right from one of Scotland's ancestors so I can offer them to all of you, dear BDSM fans. Sure you will know what to do with them. And you'll be surprised because tawse can not even be compared to any other spanking tool from the side of the handle nor the other.
They are not new, they have been used in the past. They were produced around 1970 - 1980.
